FREE SCHOLARSHIP

Poverty has compounded the misery of vulnerable families in many communities. While women and children bear the brunt, the adverse effect is seen mostly in the educational prospect of the child; with disproportional increase in child labour and child marriage, a situation prevalent in Northern Nigeria.

Your kindness has provided the means for 5 kids to navigate the tide of hopelessness as they see the opportunity to return to school in pursuit of a dream.

First on the list is Chimobi Eze, 13yrs old, has never met his dad and his mom passed away few years ago, leaving him with his grand mom who is scrambling to support him but without plans for education; today, he got full scholarship.

Second, is Kinkeni Dauda, 12yrs old. She moved to Jikwoyi to live with a relative after her parents were murdered by Islamic extremist. Her dream of being educated seem crushed due to lack of funds, but today, that dream lives! She got full scholarship. Same is true for Wonder Monday and others.

Though the Foundation (SGAF) does not provide scholarship for vulnerable & less privileged children, we are able to help them knock on doors by sending in application and helping them qualify for millions of scholarships already available around the world.

Thankfully, the Lord has made this first attempt successful. Everyone (5) whose name was listed got full scholarship, these are kids that are consistent at the Free Weekend Program.

Our mission is to preach the gospel and that is sacrosanct, but seeing kids in desperate need, we look for tangible ways to help. We hope to build a school eventually, God willing. however, as we watch and pray, we help the kids with what is already in our hands.
