Support for Schools & Orphanages

Sovereign Grace African Foundation (SGAF) provides support for schools and orphanages to become self-sufficient by maximizing their land to farm, work at trade, and develop independent living skills in conjunction with scholarships and employment opportunities.

Humanitarian assistance is a Gift, it is also an investment into an amiable future society we all hope for.

Your support is an important part.

In Eket, Akwa Ibom State, we partnered with storychangers.de an international non-profit, based in Germany to provide funds for the education and housing of orphans.

The orphanage " Way of the Nations Children's Home" received ₦500,000 as a result. 100% of the funds were distributed, plus free book for every child.

We are also in partnership with Spring of Hope Academy, Damishi local community, Kaduna State, providing partial and full scholarship for over 70 vulnerable children.

Nigeria's Federal Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development estimates that there are 17.5 million orphans and vulnerable children (OVC) nationwide. These children face enormous challenges to their health and development and it is estimated that 95 percent of OVC do not receive any type of medical, emotional, social, material, or school-related assistance.

SGAF offers true hope to these vulnerable ones through direct support to schools in rural communities and scholarship.

We are constantly thriving to do better in our effort in providing a path to beneficiary's self reliance and resilience.

“The education deprivation in northern Nigeria is driven by various factors, including economic barriers and socio-cultural norms and practices that discourage attendance in formal education, especially for girls”. Unicef.

SGAF is on ground to help, by assisting vulnerable children and communities.
